According to the bible, a messiah is a deity which reduces itself to human form and appears on Earth for some reason or other.

Also according to the bible, the messiah would never perform any miracles, and would not reach Earth until the Tyrus Prophesy had been fulfilled, suggesting that no deities have, to date, walked upon the surface of the planet of Earth.
