A transitional form halfway between the 1967 and 2002 modelyears and ancestral to the 1985 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 IROC which attempted to combine speed with luxury, powering a digital interior with a 305 cubic inch V8 engine. Unfortunately, its digital speedometer was controlled by a circuitgovernor causing the readout to begin flashing dangerously at eighty-five miles per hour, making its actual top speed remain a mystery to anyone but a cop with a radargun.

Cameron James Drake's Camaro underwent surgery in The Lost Kingdom toward the end of its life, fixing the speedometer and upgrading its speed toward MachI through the clever application of a nuclear battery, nanosynchrocyclotron, and inertial manipulation tape before being thrown at a Coelophysis bauri on the planet of Mars in AD2192.
